Evangelism
Join us every Tuesday evening to pass out tracts and share the Gospel one-on-one. We meet at the Downtown Bellevue Park at 5:45 PM (for prayer), then witness from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Very often we will also have a second team of people witnessing at the Bellevue Square Mall beside the water fountain (next to the Cheesecake Factory) at the same time. Each night we see the Spirit of God work and move in the lives and hearts of people in a way that every Christian should experience.
It's important to emphasize this ministry is not for "the evangelists." Rather, it is for every Christian, regardless of spiritual gift. Ephesians 4 reminds us that "God gave... evangelists... to equip God's people for works of service." As this ministry grows, it is our goal to have many teams of people witnessing several nights of the week and even during the lunch hour as well.
We also take part in several area-wide events, such as the Bellevue Family 4th Celebration at the Downtown Park and the historic Bellevue Strawberry Festival, where we rent a booth from which we share the Good News of Jesus with literally hundreds of people. To lead someone to faith in Jesus will be one of the greatest thrills of your Christian life!
Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." Will we see you there?
